QuinnRoss Energy are excited to be taking part in this year's INSE Construction 2025 in Warsaw.
This year’s event will bring together experts, leaders, innovators & enthusiasts from the Sustainable Buildings sector. Participants will benefit from exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices & building international partnerships.
This year's conference will discuss topics such as:
- Zero-emission building technologies
- Plant-based building materials
- Straw prefabricates
- Hempcrete
- Digital twins
- Biomaterials
- Advanced construction materials
QuinnRoss Energies' Lucy Magda has been invited to participate as a panellist discussing Advanced Construction Materials & Biomaterials, its accreditation & testing requirements, with a focus on the use of natural, renewable, or bio-based materials (e.g. wood, bamboo, hemp, straw, plant fibre composites) in construction in place of traditional high-carbon materials like concrete and steel.
Based on the INSE’25 description, the “biomaterials and advanced materials” theme includes information on:
- Bio-based materials: Materials derived from living or once-living organisms (plants, fungi, etc.). These may include wood, bamboo, hemp, straw, and plant fibres.
- Bio-composites and hybrid materials that combine plant/fungal/inorganic components.
- Materials with low embodied carbon, renewability, and circular lifecycle.
- Natural or less processed materials used in insulation, structure, and finishes.
