BREEAM Pre-Assessment

At the project concept stage or planning stage, QuinnRoss Energy will produce a BREEAM pre-assessment. This is a document that outlines the credits and targets the project intends to achieve. This information will be based on discussions with the design team, will take account of the desired target, will include what is and isn’t plausible for the building and we will use our expertise and experience to advise which credits are the most applicable and offer the most credits for the money. The other advantage of the pre-assessment is you will have an assessor on board at the earliest stages. This is often crucial for BREEAM and the earlier an assessor is on-board the smoother and more seamless the process of BREEAM certification will be.

BREEAM Assessment

BREEAM is the World’s leading environmental and sustainable assessment criteria for the built environment. A BREEAM assessment focuses on sustainable value and efficiency throughout a number of the building’s lifecycle stages, including new construction and refurbishment. It evaluates your building against performance benchmarks and gives a rating once all documented evidence is submitted. The categories are as follows:

Not only do we have a wealth of experience, not just with the BREEAM process but energy and sustainability advice, but we are also MEP consultants so have knowledge of how all the technicalities in BREEAM are incorporated into the design and re-produced on site. To make it even better QuinnRoss Energy’s BREEAM service is a whole management process, where if desired, we will organise all aspects of BREEAM, even ones we are not qualified to perform removing the admin and organisation away from the clients and project managers.
